How a 5-day email series more than doubled consultations
Client: Med Spa
The Setup
Most people who visit your website aren’t ready to take immediate action like booking a consultation or entering their email. They usually have questions, concerns, and they need information first - or they’ll bounce.
That was true for a med spa client who wanted to smooth the path from “interest” to “booking.” So instead of pushing “book now” buttons, we created a 5-day email series answering every question the med spa staff had heard about Botox over the past decade. No selling - just clear, helpful content. The topics included everything from how Botox works to post-treatment care.
The Results
Consultations booked increased by 60% over just the simple "Book Now" version of the site.
What That Means in Revenue
Let’s bring this to life:
Average Botox treatment cost (U.S.): $475
Increase in consultations: 60%
Conversion rate: 50% of those additional consultations turn into paying clients
If a med spa normally has 40 consultations/month:
60% more = +24 consultations
Half book = 12 new clients
Monthly revenue from those clients = 12 × $475 = $5,700
Because Botox is typically a quarterly treatment, those 12 new clients usually return 4 times per year.
That means one month’s new clients represent $22,800 in annual recurring revenue.
If the site keeps bringing in 12 new clients every month, that effect compounds — adding up to $273,600 in potential annual revenue from new Botox patients alone (not counting their existing baseline business).
"We’ve sent a monthly specials email for years and that never had the direct impact on our business like this has."
